Matthew & Melanie’s 10 Downing wedding in Savannah could not have been more perfect. After a super hot (I MEAN SUPER HOT) Summer here in Georgia, on October 8th we had a wonderful breeze, a small chance of rain that held off until late in the evening, and it was amazing!

OH, and let me tell you about this first look with Melanie’s dad. Ya’ll. I was in tears. I am a daddy’s girl. Maybe it’s because I am homesick, or maybe it’s just because this was such a special moment, but I am surprised it is even in focus due to the tears flowing down my face as I captured this moment.
The ceremony at 10 Downing, was romantic and beautiful. Matt could not take his eyes off of her as she walked down the aisle with the biggest smile on her face. Matt’s sister did the honors of officiating their wedding, which I thought was precious. They exchanged vows that they had written each other, and sealed the deal with a kiss.
Then we got the party started. Melanie and Matthew danced the night away with their family and friends. During the last dance, they swayed to the music in the middle of the dance floor while their loved ones cheered and danced around them in a circle. It was such a wonderful last dance to end a beautiful night, of the beginning of their new life together.
