Couple’s Portrait Session at Tanglewood Park
I always love telling the story about how I know Heather and Josh. In high school, Heather and I both cheered on rivalry teams. Every time our teams played each other we would end up in what we called a “Cheer War.” (Think ‘Bring It On.’) She and I were both flyers (the little people being thrown around in the air) and would take turns showing off our best moves to see who could one-up the other. We were both also great tumblers and would see who could do the most absurd pass across the basketball court. Round-off back-handspring back-tuck? PSH! Watch this. Round-off back-handspring back-handspring back tuck! In the end, it was all in fun and I absolutely admired her spunk and what a wonderful cheerleader she was. Heather reached out to me last year about photographing her and Josh’s anniversary pictures and I was so excited to get to reconnect with her and catch up. This year when she reached out to me about doing Fall portraits, I knew of the perfect spot. Tanglewood Park has always been a favorite place of mine in the Winston-Salem/Clemmons area. I am so happy with the outcome and this time we even had a special guest, their sweet dog, Boone! He had such a blast frolicking in the mud behind us and randomly photobombing his mom and dad.
