A Summer Wedding at The Barn at Cranberry Creek

To say that I could have never in one-million years imagined that I would be photographing Katie St Johns’s wedding, would be an understatement. In my mind, she will always be that sweet little girl that I met when she was maybe six years old. Her wedding was held at The Barn at Cranberry Creek, tucked away right down the road from our high school and my childhood home. I have loved watching her grow up into the wonderful and Godly woman that she is today. Katie and Hunter’s original plans to have the wedding celebration of their dreams on June 30th, 2020 were postponed, like many others due to Covid. However, they had a small intimate ceremony on that day followed by the most perfect second wedding on July 25th, 2020. The weather and atmosphere could not have been more perfect. These two have known one another since middle-school. Not many people can say that they get to marry their middle-school sweetheart. However, it was evident on this day that God put them into each other’s lives at such a young age for a reason. As Katie said in her vows, “I never would have imagined that our wedding would have happened this way, but there’s no one else in the world that would want to marry twice. I am so glad that God placed you in my life when he did. Because means I get to love you longer.”

I am so honored to introduce to you all the new Mr. & Mrs. Hunter Johnson. I wish you two the best in this new adventure and can not wait to continue to watch you both do amazing things.
