Classic Sacred Heart Wedding Savannah Georgia | Maureen + Daniel
This classic Sacred Heart Wedding in Savannah Georgia could be best described as the perfect Southern charm wedding.
Maureen and Daniel’s wedding day was an absolute dream! Maureen was so thorough with her planning from start to finish. Fun fact: She is the first, and only bride to send me a 5 page excel spreadsheet with details from parking, timelines, photos that she wanted captured listed in chronological order throughout the day. She made my job a BREEZE. Her florals by Kristian Designs were mindblowing. I can only name about two of the florals used, but here is a full list given to me by Kristian:
-Garden Rose Hearts
-Spray Roses
-Dutch Scabiosa
-Light Pink/White Dahlias
-White Garden Roses
-Dutch Astrantia
-Garden Rose Juliet
-Salal Leaves
-Red Hypericum Berries
-Ruscus
Maureens classic and timeless invitations by Minted fit the aesthetic of her Southern wedding to a T!
There was not a dry eye in the house whenever Maureens father saw her in her wedding gown for the first time. I love these special moments between daughters and their parents.
After the ceremony we got to enjoy a ride around town with Old Town Trolley Tours of Savannah with a quick stop at Forsyth Park for some pictures!
During their engagement session back in March, Maureen and Daniel told me they had been taking dance classes to prepare for their wedding, and just as a fun hobby to do together to take some stress off from all of the wedding planning. I highly reccomend this to my couples! They put on an amazing show for us at their reception!
Shockwave Entertainment also offered a very cool twist to the Garter retreival. Daniel was told to stand at the end of a tunnel of single men and had to literally WORK his way to Maureen with impressive dance moves. Not impressed, Maureen gave him a thumbs down and he had to take a few steps back. He finally made it up to her and let me tell you, this really got the party started!
We finished off the night with glow sticks and a beautiful sparkler exit to farewell the Newlyweds as they took on this wonderful journey together.
