This elegant Tybee Island wedding took place last month, and Calyn’s Bridal session was such a dream!
Calyn chose to wear her grandmothers wedding gown for her bridal session and ceremony and it brought tears to my eyes. Her grandmother wore this gown in 1957.
How special is that?! Enjoy!
It was extremely important to Calyn to take a picture just like her grandmother did in this dress.
Not only is this such a sentimental shot, but isn’t it fun to see the difference in
how weddings have changed over the years as well as photography?! So cool!
I got way too excited when I realized the studio had a plant very similar to the ones in Calyn’s grandmothers portrait.
I can’t even take credit for being prepared for that.
Such a happy bride-to-be!
Fun fact, Calyn’s mother put this bouquet together by herself. I think she has some hidden talents she isn’t telling us about!
This studio space was such a dream. The natural light, neutral decor, and soft colors really tied in nicely for a bridal session.
