The Little Herb House is certainly a one-of-a-kind wedding venue! Nestled down a dirt road with stunning landscaping and scenery. Everywhere you turn there is another little nook that serves as the perfect backdrop. One thing that really resonated with me yesterday as Kirsten was walking down the aisle to marry the love of her life, was that God had this day planned way before anyone else did. He strategically put these two in each other’s lives at a young age, knowing that this day would someday come.
Kirsten and Cameron secretly had crushes on one another in high school. During Kirsten’s senior year of college, she wrote a simple “Happy Birthday!” on Camerons Facebook wall. Cameron messaged her and asking for her number and they have been inseparable ever since. Hearing these two talk about one another during their engagement session just had me smiling from ear to ear. Each time I would say “Okay look at me and smile, now look at each other, now kiss!” Cameron would lay the biggest kisses on her as if each time was the first time. He had that same excitement on their wedding day and it was just the sweetest thing to witness. The way he looked at his beautiful bride just melted my heart.
Kirsten and Cameron shared a first look along the water at their beautiful wedding venue. Afterward, they quietly read their vows from one another. The weather was so perfect for a Summer day, with not a cloud in the sky and a gentle breeze passing through ever so often. During their reception, I would look over and catch them just beaming at one another in the middle of the dance floor. When the night came to an end, they shared a special last dance together while their guests waited outside with sparklers for their exit.
Mr. & Mrs. Wayne, I have loved getting to know you both. Thank you so much for trusting me and for being so wonderful. The kindness and friendship you guys have given me throughout this entire process is a sweet reminder of why I do what I do. Enjoy Florida and the rest of your lives together!
I am so honored to share the images from their big day with you all and I hope you enjoy watching the day unfold.
