Sound to Sea Beach Club Wedding

Morgan, Jesse and their loved ones traveled from all over (but mostly from Pittsburg) to celebrate at the beautiful Sound to Sea Beach Club in Corolla, North Carolina. The Outer Banks has always been a special place to me, and it was so refreshing to return for this special occasion! The ocean has always held a special place in my heart and been the one place that I can always go when I need a “reset.” George and I were married on the coast of North Carolina in Wrightsville Beach and I 100% believe that the calmness of the ocean is what helped ease my nerves on my big day. The weather for Morgan & Jesse’s big day could not have been more perfect. The last few weeks have been humid and hot here in North Carolina with random storms popping up everywhere. However, on this day it was in the low 70’s, not a cloud in the sky, and a gentle breeze. Aside from how simply stunning this wedding was, there were also special sentimental touches placed throughout the day. From a beautiful rosary placed around the stem (something blue) that belonged to Morgan’s grandmother, a 100 year old cameo that has been worn/carried by each bride in her family since 1921, her brother playing the guitar as she walked down the aisle, to champagne flutes that belonged to Morgan’s late grandparents that they used on their wedding day. Each of these special touches helped tied together one special wedding, and I am so happy to have been a part of it.

Morgan and Jesse, getting to know you two throughout this entire process has brought me so much joy. I am so glad that aside from two amazing clients, I gained two wonderful new friendships as well. I love you both and I am so happy for you and to watch you grow alongside one another.
